A 24-inch CAD plotter and scanner for redlines, as-builts, and check sets
- Scan, copy, and print in one footprint. The integrated scanner sits in the flat-top body, so marked-up sets can be scanned to USB, email, or SMB without a separate scanner.
- Presets for drawings. Canon lists presets for CAD line drawings, tracing paper, black-and-white blue and blue invert originals, posters and photos, and drawings or maps.
- Creased originals. Canon says dual LED illumination reduces shadows on creased prints.
- Fast scanning. Canon says users can scan up to 5 inches per second in color and 10 inches per second in monochrome.
- One touchscreen for both jobs. The 5-inch tilt panel controls the printer and the scanner, and you can rearrange frequently used settings.
- Crisper print lines on plain paper. Canon says the reformulated matte black ink gives sharper lines and text.
- Larger tanks. It ships with 130ml matte black and 90ml color tanks, and replacement tanks come in 130ml and 300ml sizes.
Who this is not for: The TM-510M prints and scans up to 24 inches wide. If you need 36-inch output, look at the 36-inch TM-610M. If you only print and never scan, the 24-inch TM-510 covers the same print width.
